Unfair Portrayal of the Fairy Fair
Could you collect and assemble
What has been shattered
Bring them together
With your compassion
And warmth
How soft you are (if you consider the edges of things and trails of dust)
Inside and out
Pieces would tear you apart (visible from both sides)
But it seems like
Inside and out (in and out) you heal easily
Easily you may (in dreams and in real life)
Marry the tissue (sliced and composed at the same time)
Able to turn into (a bird without wings, a tap on the back) endless virgin forms
How soft you are (if you bear in mind the edges of things)
Could you absorb what's left of me
With your compassion and love
With your understanding and touch
With a long kiss
And infinite little ones
Find me in pieces (look for spikes and trails of dust)
Swallow me whole
Even softer inside (could you)
Make my bed, tell me stories
Stories I have already heard
Can you do all that
While remaining intact
And the softest (think about the pillows and clouds)
Inside and out
How soft you are
Inside and out
It seems like
Though pieces would tear you up(beware)
Easily you heal
Able to turn into
Countless new shapes
It is not fair
What is expected of you
The unconditional softness that would cement the tissue
It is also unfair
For me to observe you
In countless virgin forms (of convenience)
Conforming to my edges (consider that even though you heal easily, you still need time)
But still,
Could you take inside what's left of me
With your compassion and love
With your understanding and touch
With one long kiss
And infinite little ones
